I was just about to convert to Gavita, when somebody threw a spanner in and said "Why don't you get the Lumatek 1000w 400v DE, which is cheaper?"
So now I'm lost again. Are these the same tech? Lumatek comes with a kit/shade/bulb/ballast attached to the top of the shade, very low profile.
(Well I was going to get the Gav 750 actually, but the price difference caught my attention)
