Hi all,
I'm currently on my first grow. I've got around a week or so to go before harvest (I think), but I'd appreciate some input regarding a couple of things.
a) All the leaves have turned yellow, with burned tips. I'm worried that my plant may die before I can harvest. Unfortunately, I was away for a couple of weeks, I left my plant in the hands of a trusted caretaker. When I came back, all looked fine then almost overnight the leaves started changing. I left strict instructions on how to water. Perhaps not strict enough.
b) I've look at other diaries both here and elsewhere, and the general consensus seems to be that the ideal harvest time is when almost all of the pistils have turned brown. However, the type of high I'm looking for is the energetic/cerebral high, rather than comatose sofa lock. Could someone offer some tips on when to harvest to get the effect I'm after?
c) Lastly, the attached pics were taken yesterday. Can anyone offer some tips as to when my harvest day might be?
As this is my first grow, I expected some issues, but as I have no frame of reference and I'm a little lost. Lol.
Setup & strain:
300w Viparspectra LED.
15ltr airpot.
Canna Terra Pro Plus.
Terra vega & terra flores nutes.
Ph 6.
Temp 24-26°c.
20/4 light/dark.
Strain: Think Different.
I have a diary in the noob section, someone there commented that diagnosing the problem now is sort of impossible, would be like doing an autopsy as the problems have already occurred. None the less, I would appreciate some input from anyone who has any tips. First grow = tutorial, in my opinion. Lol
Also, note to self: buy a digital microscope.
