Mephisto Genetics Germination and Germ Test with Mitch

Hey guys we were getting a tent of deep blue c ready!
Just thought I'd show and tell the germ findings..View attachment 481475

We required 72 to be potted,
So I started 101.. After 45 hours in a dvd case in moistened toilet paper we have..
72 potted
22 with tails but not selected
3 twins
4 semi-cracked/uncracked but no signs of tails yet.

So all in all 97/101 so far.

This might be an interesting video about germinating lots of seeds.

This guy is pretty well known, he is kind of the Sam the Skunkman of Tomato Breeders.

It is amazing how tough the seedlings are. Are Cannabis roots more brittle at germination?

Every mephisto bean i have ever put water on as grown into a plant know that im thinking about it.. My last run I did 15 mephisto beans and 14 where perfect plants and 1 was a mutant not bad at all!! the mutant was a chemdoggin and she still did well at the end about 40g or so dry..

Oh yea I have some Blue cush that I just put in soil and they both just popped right up.. I need to keep up with my autos! I always use a napkin but when the tail gets to long and I put it in the soil, somtimes i get a root loop and that turns into a root knot when the plant gets bigger. I dont like a root knot because IMO it makes the plant small. i want my autoflower tap root to go straight down as possible. So now when I see the shell cracked and just a spec of tail in the soil they go. no more root loops!
