Great Lakes Genetics Customer Service. Anyone else having issues with this company?

I just want to say thank you to everyone for at least trying to keep this amicable and trying to set things right. It's so often these things turn into some shit show everyone wants to eat popcorn watching, and seldom does that turn into progress.

I asked you to send an email to sales@greatlakesgenetics.com.
I personally sent you a message from there today at 11:30 AM eastern time.
If you have not got it, please check your spam file. We are working on your order.

On the 12th you sent a email asking if we had any updates on your order. On the 12th at 11 am Dave returned your message. He said he would be going to the post office later on that day and would check with them. On the 13th at 11:45 Dave sent you a message that he had asked the post office to check into the package.

Then you sent one message on the 14th, 2 Messages on the 16th and a message on the 20th. Please bear in mind that the 17th and 18th , was Saturday and Sunday and the 19th wasMartin Luther King Day.

We have asked the post office to put a search out for it. And we will keep you posted.

But between Christmas,New Year’s and then the long weekend with Martin Luther King’s day. It is a time of the year that they get behind.

And on your order.
You sent an email today that says
“ I don’t understand why you’re making it so difficult to get what I paid for”

“ I didn’t make a mistake. I made an online purchase and you’re not being very helpful.”

“ I just want what I paid for”

When in reality you purchased a $100 pack on clearance for $25. And you know that we sold out of them.
And you know we are sold out of the other pack that was a normal stocked item.

So even if it was deemed that your package was lost. I do not have the other items in stock to offer you.

At this time, I actually think we should give it at least another week.

I have sent for an order form from 2020 to see if I can restock the sold out item.
But on the clearance item, I have nothing to offer you. In that case I would offer you a refund after I have determined that the package has taken too long.

Don't get super stoned on New Year's Eve and order beans. Cause the order will be lost in the mail.

Just a thought: why ordering / sending out something via shipping without proper tracking number? That little extra cost is worth it to avoid future 4 pages forum discussions. makes life easier on both sides. That goes for any order, no matter where placed or who sends it...

It was sent with a tracking number and the tracking number shows that it’s stuck in the mail since 4 of January.

Thanks @Great Lakes Genetics ..it takes balls to sign up into a new site when you know you are coming in for a complaint.

It is ashamed because my first few orders came really fast and they give good freebies but my last experience has been annoying to say the least.

I think @DoobieGrows was really fair saying normally you have been spot on......just the issue with the current order.....
