Yea, i really like them.. i would need 4, and that's out of my budget (~300 left to spend). Think ill be getting a couple QB100 to add to my other led.

For around 300€ you can get Samsung or Bridgelux strips with 320 HLG driver. You don't need heatinks so less €€€ spent. Which will give you around 350-360 watts with optimum penetration, because more diodes means more light penetration.

Good info. I looked into the strips. Havent versed myself on them much. Thanks to a random google search i think i found what i need..

Tiny update for records (and a shameless bump from previous post)

3 out of the 4 are showing taproots.. i cant wait.. feels like the first time. I really need a decent camera. Gonna hit up pawnshops to see what that have.

I also need something to get my babies off the ground. Ideally a 3x3 end table modified with casters, so i can just rotate, move them for cleaning.

I love how helpful this place is.

well 3 out of the 4 germinated. except the 3 all are around a inch tall with no noticeable growth in 2 days. the tap root was well into the tray, so i transplanted into the 3 gallon cloth pots and stuck under the led. nothing yet. they don't look dead.. but haven't sprouted the 2nd set of leaves.. They are all the same so my guesses are ... root was exposed to light for too long (taproot in tray), bad genetics, lack of patience, too much light, not enough light. I was using distilled water so its not a ph problem. ive read that the peat pellets are not the best for germing, but i never had a problem before.
