Chester: that was sort of the information I had been looking for but hadn't found too many specific RH ranges, since most of the posts I read said exactly what you did about the crispiness and the moisture, but never really gave me an idea of what range I'm looking for! Do you know about how long a Boveda lasts by your method?? I know there are other factors involved, but a round about idea would be awesome!!

I use 1 Boveda per 1/2 gal jar. It is about the size of a postcard ... A Boveda lasts me for several years .... I follow the cure technique explained in this thread ... https://www.autoflower.org/f23/time-we-all-work-so-hard-achieving-perfect-cure-204.html

Once my weed is jarred up and past the burping stage is when I first use the Boveda pack ... the pack sits in a 1/2 gal jar keeping the rh @ 62% ... After the first couple weeks I burp about once a week or every couple day or once every couple weeks for a few minutes ... w/ the Boveda in place the air in the jar is a constant 62% so only an occasional 'off gassing' is required. For my day to day weed I open a jar and pick a bud to grind to keep in a Kodak or Fuji film container ... a 1/2 gal jar gets opened about 2-3 times a week and just long enough to pick out a bud ... at that rate a Boveda pack should last for many years ...

Thanks again guys!!! This has been an incredible experience!! I just clipped the buds off the big stems and they feel pretty damn close to dry, but the bigger stems were still relatively green, so I'm hoping that the next 24hrs or so they can dry off just a little bit more.. The smaller ones I had to pull from the jar because it was fine when I went to bed, at about 65%, when I got up, it had jumped to 78%, so back to the drying area for now.. Visibly, there is more bud from the bigger ones that are still drying that there is from the smaller buds and I will also mention that the bigger buds do indeed feel more dense than the smaller ones, which is awesome, since I'm now guessing that after all this, I may be right on target at over 32g's!!!

I really can't thank you guys, especially the veterans who have put a TON of priceless information on here for us new guys to read and absorb!!!! I swear, this next grow is gonna get LST'ed and I'm hoping for 2-4oz a plant!!!!!

Final dry weight before curing = 43.7g of bud with 51.1g of sugar leaf/popcorn bud/trim and that doesn't include the 1 bud that I cut off for sampling purposes and the one I dried to smoke because I'm out.. About 10g over what I anticipated which is making me get these excitement jitters!! I'm in my mid-30's and I've been wanting to do this very thing since I was in my mid-teens, and never thought a couple years ago, that I would be doing it!!! I seriously cannot begin to thank all of the veterans who have been gracious enough to put their wisdom into text for people like myself to learn from!! Believe me when I say I will pay it forward to continue the positive encouragement of folks trying to get down on this hobby/art!!
