Problem: Brown/golden spots appearing on older lower leaves.

Medium/grow method: BioBizz LightMix mixed with cca 25% of BioBizz CoCo in 20L smartpot

Feed and supplements used: BioBizz nutes: grow, heaven, alg-a-mic, activera

Water source: bottled water, EC about 0,3 PH = 7,5

Strain/age: Dutch Passion Auto Orange Bud, day 19

Light used: 1 cree cxb 3590 3500K running at about 1,2A, 50cm above the top of plant, 20/4 cycle

Climate: RH about 50-65%, temps: 24-26 C - day, 20-21 C - night

Additional info: At first i have to mention that the plant is Triploid. First two feedings i adjusted ph of water with nutes to about 6,0 which was a bit too low i think so that should be the reason of problems. Then i tried to keep it about 6,5. Watering every third day about 1,5L. Also im mysting the plant about 3 times a week using water mixed with 0,5 ml/L Alg-a-mic + 0,5 ml/L Activera. I think there may be some kind of Ca/Mg deficiency as i have never used any CalMag supplement but im not sure. Plant overall looks little bit too light green. New leaves on the very top are dark green around center and light green near edges. Also stems are purple/red. Is that okey/normal? Thank u guys for help.

Some spots happen if nutrients get on leaves but I don't no if this is the case so always spray leaves that you may have got nutes on with plain water.I would also suggest using cal/mag to prevent def later on.

:toke:-- Hey bud... with ther coco added in there, your Ca demands are now high because of coco's tendency to hog it (a CEC charateristic of it),... plus you're under LED/COB, so that tends to increase demand as well,... spotting does look Ca defc. related, but there might be some Mg defc. starting too, mostly what's behind the pale color,... what are you feeding dosages right now? Biobizz is very mild stuff, so dilution isn't necessary for long, or by much,... And that soil blend is low of native nutrients, so depending on your feed rates and frequency, you may need to up the dosage some... Huh, your bottled water is 1.3 EC??-- that's very high for a purified water,.. and the pH strangely low for such hard water,... Have you calibrated that pH meter recently, and the EC as well?
Stem color is likely a normal color expression, but it can indicate P defc. too,...
...foliar feeds are fine, but to be more effective, you need to use a wetting agent, and spray the bottoms of the leaves as well, (more stomata there),... weeting agents take the surface tension out of the water/solution you're spraying, so it coats and sticks better! More surface area covered = more absorbed-

Hi man. Thanks for reply with some interesting information. I have added cal/mag to last feeding and i think the plant is really better now. Spotting on them three lower leaves still there, but new leaves are great also better colour. Other thing is that i made mistake and wrote EC 1,3 instead of 0,3 ...already edited :)
Added cal/mag to make EC 1,5 is that okey? Im feeding with dosages from biobizz nutrient schedule but adjusted a little bit. So i feed with little bit extra what they say. Never got any signs of nutrient burn.
I do spray the bottoms of the leaves as well with mist spray.
Thank you so much for help.

:greenthumb: ahh, I see! ...good to hear progression has halted,... EC of water + Ca-Mg is 1.5? Hmmm, what brand of Ca-Mg, and how much per L? .. should be ok, at least for a while until you're well off the defc., and that coco is loaded,.....
