I like to keep cheap vapes around to carry when out and about. My DaVinci Ascent is too nice to lose or have confiscated so its my around home unit. I've had my Iolite maybe 2 years now. I think its losing it temp control, seems to be getting hotter. So I went looking for a replacement. I picked up on ebay, a Pulsar Curve. I got it for $41 shipped. They go about $47 on ebay and $99 retail.
Its not the kind of vape i would usually buy, I don't like the high draw resistance type vapes and this is one. But, to carry around for a couple quick hits will working outside, or wherever, it is fine. Its wider than a Pax yet fits about completely in your hand. Its short, easy to hide.
The vapor production is surprizingly good, better than most vapes you'd find under $50! Take long, gentle sips and it works well.
Taste of the vapor is good also. The airpath is all stainless steel.
and most interesting, the chamber is a long tube that goes all the way thru the vaporizer! It has a plug in the bottom that you can pop out and use a toll to push the spent weed out the bottom! And it holds about .5 - .6 gram.
Battery life is good, especially for the size of it! It has three heat settings: 370, 410, and 450. I think the temps are actually much lower than the high setting claim, you get good hits yet its not hot vapor. You can get a good cloud with practice though!
All told, a good basic vape that if I'm forced to, I could toss away. Beats the hell out of losing a $200 vape!
