Hello All-

Just finished using FFOF soil and never again! Burnt the hell out of my plants.

What is a good organic soil and nutrients where you don't have to ph everything?

Thanks so much for the quick response. Fox Farm Ocean Forest sucks. As soon as I switched nutes to bloom in less than 24 hours the entire plant went to hell. Check my thread in new growers under lowryder mix- new start. Look at pics. It looks burnt!

I'm gonna recommend build a soil. I've used the Coots kit loads, it's a simple quality mix. Just mix a base soil(1/3 peat moss, 1/3 worm castings, 1/3 perlite) and add the mix. That'll take you from seed to harvest with water only.

But general organics line is also great(I used to feed it onto of Coots)

U would've thought I hit it with a torch. Another person said that my nutes may be old and messed up ph big time

I've done the same thing in the past, man. I'm building my own organic soil now with the help of the good folks here in the organic section. It takes time but I think it'll be worth it. There seems to be a few places online to buy good canna friendly soil or mixes to add to base soil, like Atulip mentioned. @Eyes on Fire has a lot of stuff in his big thread here about building good soil from purchased products. You'll be able to kiss those bottles goodbye:)

yeah, you have to decide to feed and prep watering feeds, which occasionally does have issues much easier than living or simple soil organics .Or essentially make your soil work FOR you and let it feed your plant(s). water and cal mag and/or teas if desired.thats it.

Thank you so much everyone for your feedback. I think I am going to use Roots Organic with General Organic Grow, Bloom and Cal/Mag. I have been reading alot about all of them. Don`t feel I am ready to make my own just yet.

well in all honesty most people think its hard..its not.you essentially make a recipe from base materials and follow the recxipe, or buy a full dry materials package, and mix it with coco, soil, perlite and some castings and the packet. let cook for 35 days and instant awesome and pot up.its literally that simple..but either way man, good luck and happy growing!!

Hey bro, I really appreciate ur feedback and knowledge. I just don't have the time to wait for soil to cook. My plan is to plant one bean per time and from what I've read roots organic is very good and will not mess with ph when adding general organic nutes.

I will update as soon as possible . Did u check out my pics in new growers section? My girl fell apart overnight !
