Nice looking stuff!
I thought about doing the dry ice but it's not easily available around here so water ice it has to be. I watched a couple videos of the dry ice process and it looks easy and fun.
Luckily my own crop made it to harvest before the botrytis came around this year. I chopped at the first sign of bud rot.
Buckwheat's moldy stuff wasn't from bud rot but from being slightly damp in the bottom of the jar. Last year's crop. It wasn't that bad, most of the bud was fine in those jars but there was plenty that cured well so why even consider. She did try it but said it tasted funky.

It does look pretty straightforward. I've watched a bunch of videos to get an idea of the various techniques. The one that makes the most sense to me is

What makes me trust the method most is the little detail of freezing and grating the pucks so the goodies dry well and don't have a chance to mold. And the nice little idea to immediately wash the bags so they don't get bunged up with resin. Good thinking. Bubbleman strikes me as being serious about his hash and how to make it.
Of course I don't have one of those cute little washing machines. My plan is to churn up the slurry in a 5 gal. bucket with no bags. I'll be using a paint mixer. Seem like using anything like that inside a bag is risky. Even though I got a cheap set there's no sense in risking a rip or excessive wear. A buck's a buck.
The videos show anywhere from a half hour of hard churning to a gentle, short stirring like Bubbleman does. I think I'll do about 10 minutes with the paint mixer at medium speed. Good quality, and the possibility of a little better yield. Though the amount of hash in that video was pretty respectable.
On the same line, one of the videos showed pouring the liquid bucket to bucket using only one bag at a time. I may do that just for the 220 screen, back and forth a couple times, to make sure all the goodies end up being washed off the greenery.

Yes the times may vary,(half hour sounds pretty long to me)keep in mind that the longer it is "churned" the more chance of the plant matter being broken down and turning the whole lot a greenish color,I have only done a few bubble hash runs and 15 minutes had my stuff greenish,it was still good tho,,Find what works for you.Experimenting and learning is whats the most fun(at least to me)

Learned the hard way to do this,in fact i had to go buy a quart of alcohol to clean mine,so dont pass this step.

No pics, I done did the deed but made the mistake of doing it on the spur of the moment, while partying kind of hearty and with the thrills and spills the yield wasn't great. But i must say, the hash is excellent.
My bags are cheapies from Geneva Barns, I think I paid under 30 bucks for the set. I haven't seen what all those high priced gold plated bags are like but these are very good quality and I see no reason why they wouldn't last me a long time. Highly recommentded.
