Was wondering what green algae does to grows in DWC? Does it slightly stunt plant growth or anything?

Here's a good article you need to read: https://www.maximumyield.com/algae-friend-or-foe/2/1180. In my experience algae is usually caused by light leaks. While a little isn't much of an issue, it looks like you're to the point where it could effect the roots ability to properly up take nutrients. Are you running organic or sterile? What nutes are you using?
