Can I leave my green light on for extended periods of time or is it better it is only on for the short period if any I need to go in there?

Are you growing autos? If there autos you don't need a green light.

Hmm. Sorry to post here. No regular. Some autos in their though I wanted to try 12/12

Your ok with the post here.I would only use the green light when your in the grow area.Better yet try working on them when your lights are on.

chances are your green light is not a green spectrum at all , only a coated bulb so no its not ok to leave it on

ok so check this out...if I was to turn my lights out(which I don't I run 24/7) but say I did you know that green power button light on my fan is pretty bright...would that b considered coated or spectrum?anyways I think I read somewhere or seen something bout that being a myth and plants can see green to..like I said I don't give a shit they never sleep,i never used to ha ha.just something to check out if u get bored...FORSHIZZEL MY NIZZLE!!!

Awesome grow I want to switch up from photo to auto and also from M.H./H.P.S. to LED any suggestions on LED set up I should get. My room for setup needed is 14X14 w/ 10' ceiling. I'm use to running dwc in winter and flood & drain during rest of year but have ran just about every grow system out there for at least 1 grow, any greater outcomes with 1 system over another with auto or is it just personal choice?

I tested out if a tiny light from a fan made a difference on a plant during 12/12, it completely made a difference. Yield was on average 18 grams less per 3 plants, also plants without any light except green LED made for viewing plants during 12/12 were a lot healthier less problems all the way around

there are some green lights made for working with plants during their dark period. it will not effect them at all as long as its a green light made for working with plants if its just a regular green led then i would not use it. and your going to want to only use it when you are working with the plants dont leave it on.
