Ive given myself a large slap on the wrist as ive failed yet again ! The temps in my grow area fluctuate between 10 and 35 degrees i think and this is the problem my seedlings are facing, the 2 thnk diffs havent surfaced either but the fresian is alive and kicking though. Checked the cloche today
3 auto bombs, 1 week indoor and 2 weeks out, took the best one and put it out today.
2 in 3 gallon black buckets are cloche grown fresian dews put out today, the tiered planter is the autobomb from above and the other planter is fresian dew too.
The new fresian dew which broke the surface yesterday will be a good comparison for the auto fresian dew, lots of grows with them outdoors this year here so will be sweet to see how long they both take and taste and yield too.
Thanx for stoppin by Magikal, the temps are in my roof space where i start the seedling not out !! I wish 30 plus degrees outside. I was about to tip all the pots today that didnt sprout and excavated one seed out and noticed it was moving ! so i put it on some plastic and dripped a little water on to wash away the soil and loads of little wormy things came out of the husk - hundreds of em ! i took a picture but dont know if you can see them.
Anyone know what they are ? Maybe the soil is carrying them or insects layed them i dont know if they are to blame or not.
4 out now and a heat wave on the way ! All got a feed of seaweed extract today
Gonna give the biggest one some bloom feed this weekend, bio bizzbloom, she should be my 1st auto smoke of the season if all goes well.
Heres the entire auto bomb crop, all now out and sunshine for another week ! Bliss (apart from the watering)
Will be interesting to see how the little cloche grown ones do compared to the indoor started ones. Smells nice too, friuty at the moment
