Grow Mediums Greenhouseseeds' Kalashnikova grow journal

Here are the new pics
as you can see they are really starting to get big, i think we should have gotten a bigger space for growing
I tried to take some pics of the flowers, but im not completely sure whether or not they are in the flowering stage yet?

thanks m8
They are seriously starting to grow fast. Ever since i switched to bloom nutes the growth rate has been insane. Especially for the older plant. I am starting to realize that if these plants had more space to grow in they would have the potential to get very big.
Sadly they are actually too big to get out of the closet right now, so from now on the only pics i can supply will be from inside the closet. Except when it is time to harvest of course, i will get some pics of the full plants

A little update from me, sadly without pics.
The flowers are starting to become bigger and bigger and are also frosty and sticky now :)
I changed the lighting from 18 hours per day to 20 hours per day, is that a bad or good idea. Does it even matter?
When i have the chance to get pics i will, the plants are looking really really good

You are doing a fantastic job dude. Can't wait to see your updated pics.:pass:

Got some pics, not the best though..I cant get the plants out of the box now, only if i destroy it^^
So when it is harvest/flush time i will try get pics of entire plants.
As you can see they are really flowering now, getting sticky and frosty with a lot of flowers.
I tried trimming away some of the lower branches that didnt get a lot of light. The stem is really thick at the bottom as you can see :) 1781671_10152929430121296_1750431633_n.jpg 11212498_10152929430061296_335242503_n.jpg 11756688_10152929430031296_272305651_n.jpg 11758791_10152929430041296_604835646_n.jpg 11759651_10152929430021296_1281967618_n.jpg

Looking great!
You do your thing. Your doing it great.

As for the right lighting schedule......all I can say is everyone has their opinions.
You find what does right by you and start there. Explore now and again to keep things fresh and exciting.

Nature. Lowers her day light as the season goes on. Just something to remember. My opinion.

I try to keep the humidity in flower 50% or less. But I live in an arid place. Its normally about 35-40%

how do i know when it is time for harvest? The flowers are starting to become quite big and very frosty and sticky, but i dont know when i should harvest them exactly

You need a jewellers loop or a usb microscope both are real cheap online. I spent 15 d:pass:ollars on my microscope on ebay. Here's the link. That way you can look at the trichomes. Otherwise you have to guess. Hairs turned red or Brown shrunk back into the flower along with most leaves either yellow or dying. And if your still not sure clip a small bud quick dry and see how you like it.

I would seriously recommend a scope if you want to harvest at just the right time

I dont think a scope would help me since i am not sure what to look for exactly.
The plants have been growing for around 2,5months/9-10 weeks now since i put the seeds in the coco.
Would it be fine to harvest in a week or so?
