G'Day All!
I've been lurking these boards for about a year now and figured it's high time to say g'day and let you know what I'm doing with Auto's down here in Oz.
I live in the City of Sydney and have been stealthily growing Auto's for a few months now and by the end of Feb should be able to harvest a pair of Dinafem Critical+ 2.0 autos I started mid-December. I found growing these autos to be heaps easier and much more discrete than traditional photo-period plants. Since I'm growing outdoors in a stealthy patio garden setup I've been happy with the small stature of these plants with the tallest barely reaching 400mm. I also have an Advanced Seeds Auto Jack Herer on the go with that still vegging and only 250mm tall (however this little beauty has HEAPS of nodes developing so I've got high hopes for this one) -and I've got one Flash Seeds Annapurna that was rescued from a mate's grow tent, this particular plant is not the healthiest and I hope to bring her back to life in the sunshine...
My aspiration is to take advantage of the mild climate and ample sunshine to grow all year round with auto's. I've just germinated a pair of Auto Seed's Pineapple Punch (got 3 beans in the pack with 2 of them germinating successfully). The soil mix I'm using is the Debco Azalea mix (for acid loving plants) with sugar cane mulch, blood and bone fert and pearlite. I just plan to tuck these two into a sunny corner of my terrace and let 'em go.
So that's it... Great to be here - thanks for reading!
