...if that's what you saw earlier, then Kush' called it right I believe, it's a leaf hopper (that bullet head is a typical trait), a juvie from the looks of it,.. no wings formed yet, like in adults,... some of that family have juvie's that make a foamy spittle-like glob around themselves for defense, but this ones harder looking body says it isn't one of them,.. they're ubiquitous sap suckers, good jumpers, and adults can fly,... not a menace really, unless in plague-like numbers (uncommon), so if you want to war with them, most any food safe product will do,.. but for every one you kill, there's another--and more- waiting to hop right back on,..."manual" killing is what I do on my outdoor girls! --pinch-crush...
