New Grower Grey Bug Identification Help!

ok so I found one at the end of a leaf! good pic this time (it must have been sleepy :smoking:)
I sure hope it is a lady bug larva! looks like an alligator to me lol i might just be too high

Ahhh, my bad Camith... I saw the top pic, then Surffreaks, and connected them-- :doh: :baked: :haha: ...if that's what you saw earlier, then Kush' called it right I believe, it's a leaf hopper (that bullet head is a typical trait), a juvie from the looks of it,.. no wings formed yet, like in adults,... some of that family have juvie's that make a foamy spittle-like glob around themselves for defense, but this ones harder looking body says it isn't one of them,.. they're ubiquitous sap suckers, good jumpers, and adults can fly,... not a menace really, unless in plague-like numbers (uncommon), so if you want to war with them, most any food safe product will do,.. but for every one you kill, there's another--and more- waiting to hop right back on,..."manual" killing is what I do on my outdoor girls! --pinch-crush...
 
Leaves are still looking fine, I have been killing and chasing off these bugs now though. Thank you all for your help!
