The AK-49 girls I started on May 6 have now been in the drybox a couple days, and some of the popcorn buds were dry enough for a pre-cure QA test.
Before the box:
I made some pretty No0b mistakes my first time out, and the quality of my indoor test plant has suffered due to letting the trikes get too brown before harvest (I then got a 40x loupe). Also, I placed my 3 outdoor girls in a bad spot and they got very leggy. Fair colas, not dense by any means, and decent thumb and smaller sized support buds.
For the next run, I'll be applying stricter controls on everything, and reading more here on AFN.
and now:
Even though it isn't fully cured, the taste is sweet, a tad skunky, and something I can't quite put my finger on. The effects are incredibly fast coming on, a warm body rush that crawls up to your head and parks there to chat with you. Not long lived, buzz wize, but I anticipate that proper curing will take care of that. Am I correct in my assumption?
