That's 345 watts of mixed spectrum, the mogul is standard E85 so you can get some sockets from lowes or hd and position them around the plants better. For two plants, that's plenty.. similar to what 1HM recommended.

EDIT: Took me so long to compile my post that there was 3 posts since. Hell yeah go with the dimmable 400W HPS. Make sure you have good cooling and exhaust. CFLs are for low temp areas/grows or stealth grows. Otherwise HID!

MH until week 6-7 or you see a good amount of bud nodes then switch to the HPS bulb. Make sure you have adequate cooling !

I have an air conditioner that runs @ 66F and a 450CFM fan that sucks air into my grow cab and through a cool tube and my light runs at 76-80F.

When I ran the light with no cool tube, I hit 85+ quite often.

Can you give us a full run down of your grow area bro? When you say two fans, you mean just in the room blowing air around? What're your plans for intake and exhaust?

Yes, same schedule. Also my light is 600W but still, I used to run a 400W and 600W side by side (couldn't get temps below 89 so I scrapped the idea) and the 400W didn't run much cooler at all.

Yupper,a good inline fan is in order to keep the tent cool with that system.What are the room temps where you plan to keep the tent?

well im thinking about putting it in my kitchen closet because it is the coolest place in the house. its probably 63 in the closet with no lights on i don't have my thermometer yet so i don't no how hot or cold it is exactly

my set up is a 4foot x 2foot x 5 foot full reflective grow tent with plenty of windows for air circulation. im going to place 2 fans inside the tent and i still dont no what lights to use because now im scared there going to get to hot and die. i have no plans for any real intake other than fans because i just got laid off my job so im on a budget right now. i have everything figured out that i want to do with my grow just not the lights lol

Stick with the CFLs then brother, the HID isn't for you if you can't have active air movement. There's no way you're going to put a 400W HID in that small space with passive intake AND exhaust. The idle ambient temperature is irrelevant when there's no active exhaust or air transfer. These lights get hot enough to cause second degree burns man.

Agreed,stick with cfls if you don't have an inline for the hps system.
