New Grower Grow Tent Question

All sounds good. Ambient temps are important. Keep temps in check and you b good. I would make sure of air movement...4 inch is a bit small IMO. Don't overwater and let patience rule.

Oh yes, if temps outside will go over 30C, there will be hot as hell inside.

In that case airflow over bulb is almost a must.

When hot outside, everything will be hotter around bulb, not only air but wood too. Hotter air from outside also means less exchange of temperature with bulb. What works in Alaska is maybe not good for California.

We live in different parts of the world and what you see working on the web is maybe 10000 kms from you in totally different climate. If you grow on large scale than you just invest to overcome this obstacles but in a small place with limited budget small mistakes may be fatal.

Also, to respectfully disagree with Gonzo, I don't believe having more plants would give you any more control over the height of the plant than having just one plant in there. In fact, it could very well be quite the opposite depending on the particular phenotype that you get with the strain.

No, we do not disagree, because when I said that growing more plants brings control over height I had had smaller pots in mind too in the same time. But more plants itself does not bring control over height, of course.
Pots and variety are the most important. And light sometimes, but here we have enough of it to prevent unexpected stretching upwards.

My square pot size is 3 Litre (I think). I cannot make the grow room any bigger. The first seed I choose was Auto AK, which had a short average height.

Im from the UK and its always cold here and will be kept in my garage, which is always cold.

I will be buying this light setup:
LUMii CFL Reflector Lighting Kit Cool Lamp 125W | eBay

I will be using a smaller version of this, which I will be buying from my local hyrdophonics shop:

Would the ducting for the carbon filter attach to the exit of my pc fan?

Has anyone else used PC Fans?

Yes, thousands grow with PC fans but they can not do any work.

If there is some resistance in air movement it is not so good any more.

My friend, if you want answers you should describe your stuff and take some photos. It is hard to guess if your fan is attached correctly.

You are showing us a picture, where carbon filter is already attached to fan, and that fan is not a PC fan.
