I shopped for a light for over a year. Looking at all the big names and heavy hitters and went with growcraft. HLG was a close second. You can upgrade these lights by adding a board or driver or 2 boards etc instead of buying and entire new light. They are American made mostly by hand, they have the best edge to edge par coverage that any other light on the market, there is hardly no fall off. Nor are there any hot spots. The customer service is unmatched and a great warranty. They're on super sale right now if you're looking for a light that will produce. You can save over 50% if you play your cards right. The X3-500 is usually around 1000 bucks 3 x 5 optimal coverage. You call ask for Austin see if he'll give you the youtube codes, they're worth 5 bucks each, if not search them yourself, they're easy and fast to find. Tell him you want B stock on the frame. Meaning the frame may have a sticker thats not straight, or a scratch in the paint. This will knock off almost another 100 dollars. If you let them delay shipping you can save another 50 or more. I got my newest X3-500 for 505 to my door and they're usually over 900 plus tax I think. These are incredible lights. They have all the independent lab tests posted on their website . At 24 inches my average umol is 974 in a 5x5 area, I think the lowest reading on the outter edges is high 700s. They are the coolest running lights I've ever had and they punch through a thick canopy like crap though a goose..
