Christmas tree sized gorilla grows back in the day? Absolutely. Baby sitting other peoples hydro set ups? Yep. But this is both my first auto grow and my first indoor grow from start to finish. A chronic over researcher but 90 days left in my supply I simply stated ordering random supplies of the internet and planted as they arrived.
I suscribe to the BIB (bigger is better) theory in most things and my bucket choice reflect this. I inherited a 3x3x6 tent so I used it. 1000w LED, 260 actual. Dinafem Haze Auto. Hemp pots.
My main concern was to have a viable crop by the time my supply ran out. I did a fair bit of mild experimentation for future reference but nothing so drastic that I felt I was endangering my crop.
What I have learned:
I really need to improve my pruning methods and work on skrog. I did end up with way more bud than if I had done nothing to get some lower branches to the light but could do way better.
I am glad I went with hemp pots for the learning experience; however, future grows will be either autopots or airpots with soil.
I need a way bigger tent; a way bigger tent. By the end of the grow I could not fit all the girls inside and some moved out of doors.
