I am thinking of growing 2 Think Different in coco, but I have never done a grow in anything but soil. Anyone have any tips and suggestions on how to do this? Also, what nutes might you have used with success?

You can get canna coco nutes, they are specifically for coco, all the regular additives go with it. It is also matched to canna coco, hope this helps :). Have a read of Blues canna coco sticky, or any of the others there, its a sub forum under the hydro section

I use Botanicare bagged coco in airpots with good results.
For nutes I've used General Organics as well as Aurora Innovations Soul Synthetics.
You will have to keep ph in line, so a ph tester will be necessary.
I'd say go for it.
Coco is the best growing medium I've used so far.
Good luck on your grow.:Sharing One:

I've heard that salt and nute build up are more volatile in Coco...

Is keeping the ph harder in coco than in soil ? Ronin?
In my experience it's been much easier.
If it does need to be adjusted it can be done much quicker than soil.

I've heard the same, but have yet to experience it.
With proper runoff this should be easily avoided.

Coco is awesome, almost no ph'ing required, but yea, you gotta rinse/flush every few weeks. The extra attention that growing in coco takes is well worth it!

You can also use coco as a soil if you are trying to grow organic. Coco mixed with a good humus and some amendments and you won't have to buy nutes at all. A good soil mix would take at least a month to cook though.
