Live Stoner Chat Growing produce in tent

Was just curious to see if anyone is growing pepper plants or anything else along side the ganja.

Here's some I pulled out of my tent.
I also have carrots going, which do very well.

I have 2 tomato plants in bubbleponics, and 2 cherry tomatoes in coco blend started same time as the ladies inside the tent with them. DWC lettuce and kale going also, just not inside the same grow space. Doing well. Those are BEAUTIFUL peppers!

wow ! smooth ! what all veggies are those ?

Thanks !

GROW ON ! :D

That's peppers and cilantro, so I can add a tomato and make some salsa! On the bottom is Swiss chard, which I add to salads and stir fry. Living in Alaska, it actually pays to grow some of your own vegetables and greens, since produce is so expensive. Plus, lots of fun. Man, I love my grow tent.

Thanks! I MUST have homemade salsa throughout the winter, so my peppers and cilantro keep me sane. I also have some tomatoes. Otherwise cabin fever sets in, and I get difficult to live with. Ha!

This is actually a great thre

I hope more of us reply to this thread. Come on! Once you smoke, ya gotta eat something! Homegrown is the best! (interesting that above it says "This is actually a great threa..... and then it stops." It was supposed to be "Thread." Oh well, back to the salsa!
Great thread for sure. I can def see the need and convenience of growing your own veggies in Alaska! Im just getting into growing produce AND flowers, wife and I bought this place a little late in the season last year, so hoping for a productive spring all around, the from medicine to landscaping and table fare. Figured since I have all the hydroponic stuff AND a year's worth of research into making sure I can pull off a ganja grow, might as well pull some killer tomatoes and salad greens while we're at it. Got a mini greenhouse inside with basil, peppers, spinach, carrots, strawberries (Gonna build a vertical gutter garden for those on the side of the house!), and rosemary. Loving the dirty hands, getting our 4 year old involved with the vegetables, new books and hours of reading AFN, and watching the plants thrive under our watch. Plus, really looking forward to eating stuff we grew! I'm also really enjoying researching ways to process as much of the material from the ladies as possible (vegetable glycerin Tincture with trim n stems for example, just learned about it here on AFN)for multiple uses as well!
