Indoor Growing Scrog

I definitely had some larf thats for sure. I have a little bit left to weigh but I'm expecting total weight to be about 760 grams or so. Not my best harvest in the tent and I would for sure expect to yield more than that with the 420 method. I agree with you on the internodal spacing, I'm not sure why it grew like that but I didn't think my lights were too high. I have been using the same led for 4 years now though and I have a brand new ac infinity light I plan to use for the next grow. Seeing what has been done with such low watts utilizing the 420 method has made me think I might have spent more than I needed to though. I would also like to try out that under canopy lighting 🤣 Thanks for the insight! I appreciate it.
Is that dry weight for 750g? That's a massive plant, getting towards biblical. There'll be a place on Mt.Krushmoor for this lady ;) . I'm averaging about 400-500g dry and that's about the max I can squeeze out of my 2x4 pulling 220W from the actual wall.

I know 420 currently holds some records over at DutchPassion for some of their autos he's showcased. I'll have to see if I can find some pictures.

haha I actually weighed the rest today and total dry weight was 767 grams in 5x5, I'm actually not sure how many watts my light is. It's the old spider farmer 4000 from 2020. I've had an AC infinity ionframe evo8 5x5 (730w) light since july sitting brand new in the box. I swear i'm installing it before it hits the 1 year mark 🤣 400-500g from 2x4 seems really good! are you already using the 420 method? and if so are you also using under canopy lighting?

I recently hit just below 17oz in a 2x2x4 pushing 150-200watts wasnt a scrog but it was 6plants in 2gal fabric pots got about 2.5-3.5oz per plant all autos, just got a 3x3x6 for the next round using the same lights i think i can do substantially better. My last scrog was just about 11oz in a 2x2x4, but i didnt fill the net because i was on a timeline, this next round should beat a pound dry for sure! Pic of last auto harvest and current photoperiod scrog 3days into flower.

I just found out about these wonderful grows from someone on reddit who also uses the technique with amazing results. I've been thinking about doing a scrog for a while now. I actually bought a net months ago and I don't even know where I put it 🤣. I'm a little apprehensive because I don't know how it's going to go in my setup. I grow RDWC and my plants get monstrous in size compared to the pictures I've seen in here. I'm scared there won't be enough net. Do you guys remove whole branches from the plant at any point during the process? am I ok in doing that if I follow this method?

This was my last grow that I just finished harvesting. Two mephisto wedding x grape walker kush in a 5x5. As you can see I'm not one who has ever defoliated in my life and my tent gets absolutely out of control. I had colas hitting the lights and growing past the lights just MADNESS and stress. I'm sitting here wondering how I would even get to the back of the plant to cut leaves off. I really want to try this method though so even if I have to send the wife in there on hands and knees with shears we're going balls deep with this method next grow for better or worse lol.

Any tips you all could give me for my situation would be seriously appreciated.
If you tent can open up to 3 sides it will help drastically, defol is a huge part of this method and if you dont stay on top of it you will end up with a harvest full of larf or worse mold because it gets so dense in the canopy. I absolutely think your yield would increase, just be prepared for the amount of work that goes into the grow. Its all about timing as well, this method combines a little bit of everything in terms of training, so being comfortable super cropping and heavily defoliating is a must, if you really want to give it a try, my best advice is start at page 1 and read from the beginning, he has multiple documented grows with all the steps and timing and questions answered you probably have. There is a ton of invaluable advice, and you will understand the concept more fully. You obviously already get the concept of growing monsters but you can harness that energy and i bet you could add a pound or more to that yield with 25sq ft of grow space in a 5x5!!! It might have to be multiple plants but youll see whats possible if you reread this thread from the beginning. Sensei @420autoflower has mastered these autoflower genetics and found how to push them to their genetic threshold!

Both, 420 and under canopy for anything that needs it. ;) I only have 2 ladies at any one time in there due to space restrictions. I generally aim for 400-500g per plant which will give minimal larf if the timings right.

Is that in the 2x4? Total 800-1000g? Thats awesome!
