Indoor Growing Scrog

I haven't heard of "DIF", but in my experience, a lot of legginess comes from CO2 exposure and is a little less reliant on (overall) moderate temperature swings, at least in Veg. Obviously temps are super important, and there's big reasons why outdoor grows prosper at a particular time of year, and that variance would be seemingly fairly common in nature.

That all being said, I'm going to go look into DIF now and glean some additional info so thanks for letting me know about it!

This is the best article I found on DIF. ( I also watched a video by a commercial tomato grower who
hired a horticulturist to explain why he was getting longer node spacing, randomly, on his tomato plants.
The horticulturist explained that the longer spacing happened when he had had cooler early spring nights in the greenhouse. )

I should continue removing fan leaves (leafs?) throughout early flower?

Do you yall in this thread let them grow out a bit, or do you pluck them right as they sprout?

Pics from today (Day 50?). Any feedback appreciated.

Day 41, six days after flattening. EC 1.2. Smaller/lower nodes caught up to the size of her tops, so I let her tops up.
Her center is a little thin because of her long stems. I've been bending lowest branches up into her middle.

Im trying to mimic your methods. The challenge im having is in getting so MANY nodes. Im using your single bent hanger method but not getting such broad growth. Any tips? Growing mephisto Gus Scout AUTO.
Thanks.

jedi, that plant was an anomaly, I didn't do anything deliberate to make her stems so long and her nodes as far apart as they were. In an earlier post I mentioned that my only guess is that some accidental 'DIF' -- 10 degrees of temperature drop over a few nights, caused her to elongate her stems. But that's just a guess.

Harvest. FastBuds Lemon AK. Three 4" Grodan cubes, Grodan covers removed, then wrapped in Panda film,
and one half a 4" Grodan cube sacrificed to small bits, for the bottom of the bin.

Day 18. Dutch Passion Daquiri Lime. Will be ready for bend-over any day now.
Working hard to keep humidity in check. I'm in a tropical area, AC running all the time,
and indoor humidity low -- perfect for flowering, too dry for early growth.
Hope I don't mess this up! 😇

Day ~54. Still watering in at 1.3, 6.0 Flora Nova Bloom. Light is up to roughly 65% and gradually increasing, still worried about stressing especially this late in the game.

Hoping to see a little more stretch before she starts bulking. She's starting to smell without being right on her. Fermented berries, diesel and some skunk as an end note. Still feels at least 3-4 weeks out unless she really starts stacking weight. Might drop my light a little to promote that.
