I use these to get more air to the soil.

Where is this "new site?" Why aren't there any prominent messages I can easily find about this (where are they hiding)?
All the details are on the "featured" section on the front page of this site

It's all going on over on the new site. We'll need to try and get this thread set-up over there.
Id like to get an update from @420autoflower on what he plans to do. Hopefully they get an archival solution worked out and he doesnt lose all this effort and the community doesnt lose all this knowledge.

Yes, I quickly scanned/sampled 10+ pages of "detailed" software-oriented discussions, but I saw no clearly visible migration announcement, instructions, never saw the new URL, etc., no info. or warnings about legacy data being lost, etc.

With vague mentions of postings at the new site and also vast amounts of information being lost now popping up here on the soon-to-be-legacy system, I'm sure others would appreciate more clarity about what we should be doing, when, how. Even just a notice: "Coming Soon....You (will) need to...." would be good.

Not completely true NOT ALL is going over to the new site to transfer everything will cost ALOT of money so lot of things will start fresh. Which IMO this thread could be started over it's getting a bit long and hard to find what's needed who wants to read 245 pages to find when to put the net on.

One thing the change over can't take from is the knowledge lots of us know the knowledge. So it's as simple as asking if you can't find something i'm always willing to help if I can or point you to the person who can. It's just like a job once you learn something it's yours no one can take it from you

I have sent two site-wide mass private messages to everyone about this.
The thread for it has been up for quite some time now.
There's a large graphic banner on the top of the forum pointing to the thread about this that's been up for some time.
I sent you a private message earlier, albeit today, about this, because I noticed you hadn't signed up yet.

Vague? I don't know man.
But now you know.

Also, we're working on a solution for archiving this current forum. There is a lot of great data here; we're not in a rush to just delete this and pretend like it didn't exist.

But this all cost money, and we've been running on donations. So if you guys REALLY want to see all this work preserved, help donate to AFN cause.

We're not about slow bleeding our funds; we just need a little more time to figure out how to best tackle all this.
