Well first things first,Id like to say Thanks for all the responses and PM's that really want me to write when and what I do sorta.sooo hope this help a little..?lol

So the first thing is you need to settle on a proven recipe.there are several to choose from.everything from literally making your own mix from a bagged soil(which is not a living soil btw) to mixing your entire mix from the ground up,or maybe even buying a pre made package as to make your own living soil mix, either way you choose these are all great options from soup and tea fed grows to literally water only methods which are literally water only.short of cal mag additives.but that too can be blended into the soil to make a water only soil which is literally the easiest and most effective method to grow cannabis.and not to mention theeee best quality hands down.

once youve chosen a mix or style its time to get started. mix up your soil from a Bag or TLO recipe.if you use a bagged soil your going to have to inoculate it well a cpl of times throughout the cooking process too.which is a little bit of a hassle for me since Im all busted up n dont like doing a lot of mixing these days.but youll mix n add stuff almost every week n a half or so. But to avoid that either buy a pre made pack (which is thee cheapest option imo for true TLO) or just buy each individual component and mix your own.the components will last a good long while for teas and composting your used roots and soil after each grow.I started with the Rev's 2.1 Recipe.ive long since changed this recipe and added to it,its not the revs recipe I started with anymore.its been tailored to almost a 100% water only mix which is so frigin easy its laughable.even MORE easy you say?well make most of your components.its easy!!saving money and literally tailoring your microbe growth FOR your specific plant from the time its mixed.very nice method and extremely effective as well.

the unconventional Gardner should get you started pretty easily imo.this place has helped me over the years and continues to help others.

So you got your soil mixed and cooked for 45 days, making sure it passes the squeeze test.moist not wet.grab a fist of dirt and squeeze it normally and if it partially breaks apart and also partially stays together your right where you need to be.Fix your pot and style of sowing you choose to do,I recommend right to the main pot after soaking and using a seedling mix such as black gold or Jiffy's organic. If you choose these seedling mixes youll have to give them a starter feed of Big Bloom at 2TBspoons per gallon ratio.but ill take a standard bottle of water if Im only feeding a few seedlings and add a teaspoon or so to it and shake it up n add that in small sips to the seedling.that should push it through well enough to reach the soil nice and healthy.

at this point its really about time.short of any cal mag issue or water issues or something oddball you should not have a single blemish on your leaves after the first cpl weeks.after two weeks depending on size and health of the plant your going to want to use a Tea(or cal mag and water only if you so desire itll be fine)if you want more active growth early on,plus the Big Bloom helps a lot too as a starter feed.I use a living seedling mix so thats a little different. but now you brew your mellow Tea and dilute it 1:1 with your cal mag(which should be used no less than every other watering)and feed as normal.now when watering do not slam a ton of water unless its due for a full on watering from a tea or whichever style youve chosen.but moist(NOT WET Soil)soil is your key to maximum microbe activity.after your thorough watering/feeding,the next day your going to want to fluff the soil well of no more than a cpl inches avoiding roots,Main feeder roots especially, small ones not so much but imho avoid them ALL if you can.plastic fork scraped lightly till you gain some feel for the soil.experience plays the full role on many of these points.your soil is going to need to evaporate and gas off and breath(soil respiration) or it'll stall some of you microbe growth and activity and suffocate some of your roots and they'll droop if your soil cant breath right.looks similar to being thirsty..they are!! thirsty for air.LOL!

then right about week 3'ish when pistils are going well or coming up good you need to transition feed which in essence is almost a microbe boost with a mild rounded feed.that by definition is a transition feed.covers all the bases and helps your plant transition into flower from veg but giving it the mellow veg styled mellow feed that many seek including your plant to do its full on potential for flowering since veg foods are needed throughout the grow to one extent or another.so thats two feedings within a three week period. Not necessary with a good mix but its fun to brew and watch them jump a lil bit when ya feed em.and them sometimes you can literally see the fungal activity when fungal dominance is encountered.thats fun there!!!

dont forget your cal mag either LOL!that should be the only discoloration youll encounter unless you hit the soil too hard and/or used guano which I personally do not use often at all.even in my soil mixes,I use very little of them.at most ill hit it Once in flower.and even then thats a maybe.

and ofcourse this system is pretty much for Autos.Photos done this way are a very different animal imo.awesome and fun and almost literally the same techniques too, just times and strengths are different as well as the introduction of spike or heavy layers.which spikes and layering are pointless for autos.Ive done it both ways without zero difference in growth structure, patterns, burning or even having one pronounced over the other.they are literally the same thing when it comes to Auto's.Photos ...eh a lil different,LOL!

and then ofcourse after your in full on flower its time to hit them with a flower tea recipe of your liking.and adding carb enriched water from early flower on too with teas or even plain ole watering with cal mag.that stuff can be used with great effects on your plants.Rice wash water is great stuff.starches and simple carb's will do ya right in the soil.remember your feeding your soil not the plant.small boosters will add to the plants growth for a short time but the plant feeds on its own essentially giving the growth and behavior of the plant back to the plant.pretty easy letting the plant eat what it wants and grow itself eh?LOL!

and a sweet tea rinse for a week or better a cpl weeks after the last flowering tea you gave.so pure water with cal mag and some sugar in the raw and rice wash is thee most your going to want to give her at this point once you have decided to rinse your soil.and sugar in the raw ,carbs n cal mag once to initiate rinsing.I use a surfactant from the flower tea to the rinse cycle throughout the end of the growth cycle.once you add your last feed of cal mag, carbs n sugar and a good surfactant...its pure water from then on for a solid week n a half or more.but i often dont go longer than a week n a hlf and get excellently full of taste type O buds every time.and the best part.you keep all of your soil and lower root structure since the roots contain all the nutrients that you fed them and adds other enzyme and protein building blocks.so right there you saved money,it'll start paying for itself before long.and the quality?maaan unmatched anywhere.and that you can take to the bank.or loanshark or whomever LMFAO!

on a side note, ill most likely redo this pretty soon.I just jotted some things down since ive been getting a lot of PM's about when I feed(Tea Template thread is WHAT I feed)and rinse my soil.recycling my revs mix thread should tell you how to recycle your soil decently.and make sure your not using an actual friendly component unlike many I see around.the ones whom are not using fully friendly things, your stunting and slowing(and some killing of micrboes) your microbial growth and stunting your plants natural growth cycle so youll get oddball results.which can vary vastly or almost none depending on various things from what, how much and how often.but never a good idea to combine the two.your taking two steps fowrward and 1 and a half back,ya dig ?LOL!hope this is helpful and also answers some of the questions about when and why I feed when I do.this is basic to what I do.I cant really get to much more in depth since I dont feel like taking pictures and digging through them to show you this n that.thats just going to take a few grows and to gain youself some experience.but its a very very hassle free way and very natural way to grow...ANYTHING!!:smoke:

hell idunno Im really tired n baked maybe ill just redo it tomm.ill prolly take a look at this tomm n think WTF was I doing LMFAO!!

EDIT: YUP i knew it LMFAO Im looking at this again n thinking WTF!!I need to clean this up LMAO!!THX

Thanks bro.im tring to hash out something on paper but thats just not my thing.that type of structure.Ive always been a here n there person by nature and could never nail down things like that easily.its just a simple grow cycle thought rambling thats ugly as sin.id like to make it a little more styled n easier to read i suppose is my goal.but with as jacked up as my head is it really just hurts to think like that as jaaacked up as that sounds LMFAO!sounds crazy though ill give ya that LMFAO!!:Sharing One:

Hey my friend! Just a thought, have you ever considered getting a small cement mixer to use for mixing soil?

Good luck on your write up man. Take it as slow as you need to, we aren't going anywhere! Big rep for hooking up the AFN community with your organics knowledge. :slap:
