Hi I have just got my 2 new led's and first led grow,seedlings are 6 days old and have just the one light on at the moment at 30 inches from top of plants,plants look fine but seem abit stretched to me! Is this normally the case when growing with led? The plants are dinafem critical auto. Thanks in advance for any help

No, LED lights tend to keep plants lower and bushier if not too far them.

Check my diary, I have been through the same problem which was solved immediatelly after lights were lowered. Since I had 6 plants, I engaged second light also to help with covering.

Welcome to the forum.Im not a led guy but usually when theplants show stretching it means they are to far away.I would lower them to 24 inches from top and see if they stop stretching.

Thanks for the help,yeah did think the light should be lower so i got 5 on the go so best thing is to add my second light and bring them down to like 20 inches from tops

Id guess the 1 unit would be fine for 6 babys bro . I have 1 unit above a 1.2m tent thats getting pretty full View attachment 285833& there all bushy girls ...the babys are prob 40" away & only stretching a tiny bit.

You can go to 24" like Nam said no worries with a GN ,but 20" would be to close imo... plus @30" you will get a nice spread over 6 plants.:group:heres the GN section of the forum ...https://www.autoflower.org/f109/.

Yeah see that mate but the height was 30 inches?Well added 2nd light and dropped them to 20inches and see hoe they do,is 85f the optimum temp?Cheers
