Hello all!
Technically - this is my second grow (though my first has yet to finish - so interpret it's numerical value as you will!) - and I'm looking forward to using what I've learned from this site, going forward with it!

I soaked the seed for 24 hours - at which point it cracked and sank - dropped it onto damp paper towel (in a lock-n-lock set upon my router) until it had a respectable tap root - and finally transferred her to a peat pellet.

Its been in the pellet for 24 hours - and has already broken ground, shed it's case and started unfolding towards the light (which all happened much more quickly than the Berry Ryder seed I started for my first grow!).

I'll give it a few more days - then she'll be dug into her home.
I mixed up a batch of organic soil for the growing medium:
1/3 peat
1/3 organic worm castings
1/3 perelite
To which I added a little organic blood/bone meal, organic tomato fert meal, neem meal and alfalfa meal - dolomite lime and organic glacial rock dust.
I dampened the mixture down with an EWC/molasses tea - and let it "cook" for a month - stirring occasionally.
I filled a good sized pot (not exactly sure what it's volume is) and ran a liter of water through it - in at 6.8 and out at 6.1.
I added a little more dolomite lime, mixed well, let sit - and ran another L through this morning - in at 6.7 - out at 6.3.
I'm happy with that - but am wondering if anyone might have some guidance on that?
Anyway - thanks for stopping in and having a look. There will be necessary time gaps in my updates, as my working shifts are three weeks away from home - but I'll certainly update as I can!
