"
Pros /cons
Pros
If cleaned and stored properly it will do you well.
When messuring ppm/ec/ph it gets stable fast 10 /15 secs.
Cons
it will use batteries pretty fast ( so use quality batteries).
Keep it clean ore it will fuck up. Trust me on that
My own experience during my last 4 ish grows
I usely clean it in the cleaning solution every month.
I usely calibrate it every month
up til now that have been enough and i have been happy using it..
BUT "Frustrating smiley"
the past 40 days, every time i used it, it was slow as f... 1 minute before stable (using the ppm)
it started out with 150 ish ppm and ended with 240 ish ppm WTF.
I have changed batteries. cleaned it and calibrated it in the solution recommedned by Hanna
Nothing helped it was slow as f....
I finally put in a cup of water phèd to 4 ish, left if for 15min rinsed it in tap water. put in a a cup with storage solution.. Forgot all about it so left it a couple of hours.
WTF still the same..
:roflcry:"pher Wiggle"
There was a small film of hwo know what on the ph probe. So rinsed it with a small piece of cloth with warm water. I did the same with the ppm "probe"..
Calibrated it again put protectin cap on (with storage solution in it). left it till next day.
now it works again. All like new. fast / stable Just to realize that my critical jack herer have been underfeed (ish) for the last 42 days (that´s properly not thru)
Anyways im pretty happy with this product.
i would recomend it if anybody need a combo meter
PS.
There`s cloth junction in the ph probe "Can`t explain with my vocabulary.. so google is your friend".
its small thin about 2-3 mm wide 4cm long it´s white
If mistaken for filth / dirt DO NOT REMOVE IT.. DON`T DO IT..
it should not work with out it... I say should not work.....
I removed it the first month.. did not know what it was until later UPS
It´s still working
Anyways this is my experience with this product .. So can only speak for my self
Stay green
