what percent should i mix the two?
i have a 5 gal smart pot. Meph creme de le chem.
should i start in a solo cup of pure light warrior?
should i mix the two and start in the 5 gal pot?

EDIT: outdoor grow if that matters.

For years I have had great success mixing 1 part Happy Frog, 1 part Ocean Forrest and 1part Coco Loco. I like the ingredients in the soils and add the Coco for some better drainage. Have never used Light Warrior. I would mix 2 parts HF to 1 part LW and plant the seed straight into the mix. Water in some Microbes on your 1st watering and every small watering that the seedling will get. Very important at this stage. Many microbe products available.

That works also, for seedling I love inoculating with a product called ARMORY by Blacksmith Bioscience, in fact all of their products are used in my soil grows.

I've grown autos in pure HF as well as with LW added. My most successful was a 2:1 ratio of HF to LW, then I would make a hole in the center with a solo cup and backfill with pure LW and drop my bean in that. I use the Jiffy seed starter mix now because LW isiunavailable in my area and it works fine also

awesome 2 to 1 it seems is the sweet spot. i like the idea of filing the hole with just LW

I start my seedlings in a cup of Light Warrior. Once they are established, I transplant them to a pot with 3 layers of soil - the roots start out growing in Light Warrior (nutrient free), then expand into Happy Frog (medium nutrients) and finally Ocean Forest (heavy nutrients). The Ocean Forest is mixed 3 to 1 with Perlite.
