New Grower Hardiest, most forgiving strains for beginners

Regarding dragons lineage being "outdoor" what Cannabis is not from outdoor lineage ? Cavemen grew it in tents ? lol.

I know you were looking for hardiness relative to other autoflowering strains, but all autoflowering strains are relatively hardy due that they are at some point were crossed with C. ruderalis to give it its autoflowering properties. If you are looking for a hardy strain just because you are a begginer and are nervous about your skill, then go with ANY auto strain that you feel meets your needs and im sure you will have no problem. If you are growing in super varying temps like some people have posted in this thread then maybe the dragons are for you!

A lot of these seeds you buy were bred in controlled environments, you have a strain that hasn't seen sunlight for 18 generations.. it will be very finicky. Dragons were bred on a patio in the UK. :wiz:

I appreciate your sarcasm, but you need to understand that cannabis genetically adapts.. that's why outdoor strains are bred, well.. outdoors.. that's how you can increase mold resistance, temperature adaptation and things of that nature. If you bred the same strains, from the same cut for 5 generations outside vs an identical cut 5 generations inside then put the sixth generation seeds side by side outside.. the one that was bred for 5 generations outside would do far superior.

I agree completly with wg. When I started growing autos outside I had a 90% failure rate. I was treating them like photos and failed big time. Having said that, this year I am treating them like photos with good results. I have been looking for an outside hardened dragon and now may have found one.Sounds like a tough strain.

Would a Dragon strain fair well indoors or will the plant be like "WTF where's the sun and wind and everything", are there any indoor bred Dragons?

If you check out the Dragon community thread(and others!) I reckon you`ll your find answer! :smokebuds:
