Live Stoner Chat Harlequin Bx4

Thanks for this POP.

Always interested in new medicine.

Looks like it has been stablized. it says "consistantly delivers 1 to 1 cbd to thc ratios.

Awesome stuff

Eek

So if we cross the males to high CBD strains do we get high CBD strains? Like auto x auto makes auto? Have some CBD crew medi haze fem and harlequin bx4 rega in the mail, planning to make stabilized CBD plants without the lab testing. CBD crew claims a guarantee of 1:1-2:1 CBD:thc ratio.

It isn't that easy and unfortunately getting a breeder to tell you how they are doing it is like getting blood from a turnip. I have talked with a few at length and I honestly don't think they know exactly how it is being done which is why a lot of them are teaming up with CBD crew to create crosses. It doesn't follow the typical breeding principals of phenotypes. From what I have been told is it is virtually impossible to breed for CBD without testing. I would typically think that is breeder talk for, "We don't want you to know" but I really don't think they have a handle on it quite yet.

Thanks, I had a feeling that would be the exact educated response i would get. CBD crew probably found their male through lots of testing and test crosses to find one that passes the gene consistently... Though I suspect part of the battle was finding one to use that wouldn't pass the CBD doninance because of would-be reproducers like myself...

Prob same for harlequin bx4 x bx4 then too huh
thT CBD is everywhere yet so elusive

I see your in cali, if you have a medical card you can get harle-tsu there which is supposed to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 17:1 CBD:THC if I remember correctly. A friend picked some up for me from Southen Humboldt Seed Org I believe. There is supposed to be pretty reliable as well, I think 7 out of 10 high cbd but don't quote me. I don't have the info right in front of my at the moment.

yep, thanks harle-tsu won first place at the local norcal outdoor organic Emerald cup, indeed something like 1% and 17% CBD.
im relocating to spain to pursue personal freedoms and im hoping to embed CBD into stock of norcal strains to ship over there and work with. I was thinking bc the bx4 guarantees 1:1 over 7% with females that maybe the CBD would be easier to predict in these males.
From what I know, the harle---- and ------tsu crosses are all pretty unreliable. I know sour tsunami is 25% chance CBD Rich pheno and the bx4 is the only nonfem stock I've found that guarantees stability, however much a guarantee is worth from the people holding "shiatsu kush" ... Which of course I also have to try lol

Im basically prepared to pollen chuck a few males and pheno hunt with lab testing once i relocate to bcn...
but figured it was worth asking since the thread is here.
im a novice so I appreciate the reality check - just bc nonfem seeds are guaranteed to represent one pheno says nothing about the traits passed to the offspring. I was hoping they just were keeping the true breeding CBD part secret but I admit I knew I was probably grasping at straws.

i very much appreciate the help and input, A4.

best,
J

Intriguing to note however that all reefer man and bc bud depot CBD strains use bx4 dad... Surely a carefully selected one? Ah, as you said, it doesn't follow standard phenotype breeding paths.
