Everyone loves harvest day, but who here dreads all the chopping?

My recent grow took 20 hours to trim over 3 days! I was sick in the end lol :crap:

I wouldn't even use a trim pro or anything, as they make the buds look shit when it does it's thing!

I hear that brother. Love harvest time but so much trimming. Even if my last trimming session went pretty quick.
:Sharing One:

Hunched over for 8 hours chopping & i felt like I'd done 30 miles on my hands & knees. I'd go as far as comparing it to torture haha

Except you don't get a nice ball of scissor hash after getting waterboarded lol

Lol this is true.

On the 3rd day I had one plant left, which by then hadn't been watered for 60 hours. That one was a massive nightmare to do. Now i know why you trim wet:face:

I'm finding I like my nugs with the sugar leaves left on! And 80% go into oil anyway so I only trim the fan leaves.

If you're happy with it then that's all that matters

I like to make bubble hash & I also read that it will affect the curing process if they're left on. Curing is a wonderful thing :Woozy..?:

I've read conflicting opinions on leaving them on. I dry them hanging in a box. I have a small fan that blows at an angle pas the handle hole in the box. It creates a very small amount of air movement. Takes about 5 days to dry thewm like that.. Haven't had a mold issue and I get good tasting and smelling buds when they're ready for the jars.

I kinda like the trimming time :) maybe I'll say different when I'm older haha. I also leave the sugar leaves on, it's just for me anyways, and being organic, the sugar leaves don't taste nasty or anything. Sometimes like recently on the stupid Smurfberry, alot of the sugar leaves are only like half sugared lol, so I'll trim off the unsugared ends heh. Extra work but I don't mind.

Well said Anthropolis, I too only grow for myself so always under 10 plants and small sugar leaves stay on during curing. Only large leaves are quickly snipped off. Takes about 1 hour to do. A bit tedious but has to be done.
