Harvest & Curing harvest is coming......prior ones lost taste why...

my plants sometimes smell so good at chop then after 5 to 7 days of drying into jars....burp and followed all directions 2 mnths in jar but can't get that taste it had when it was dried only and sometimes they smell good mid flower then loose there smell altogether unless rubbed.think it could be the high temps of summer

I think pot loses it's good smell when the outside of the bud is allowed to dry faster than the inside of the bud ... IMO this traps the smells and flavors that we are trying to cure out of the herb ...

It's common for buds to lose there stronger smell when curred for some time.It might also depend on the strain how much smell lingers after curing so this is all quite normal.

thanks cause I was real worried about my drying n jarring to soon.had some sour d from df that smell awesome all the way to me pipe.but others not so....cut rq NL last nite n really has little smell but are hard as rocks....I'm a happy camper.... my winter plants seemed to be way frostier but they were all dift strains.summer bunch not so much....think its the heat......or strain
