Harvest time or wait another week?

Based on everything I have read here regarding the color of the trichome heads, after looking at them through the microscope, I get the sense that I should wait another week, but would really appreciate the collective wisdom from here. Please advise if I should wait another week? I don't want it to become a sleepy high either

Since this is my first harvest, I am still learning, so would really appreciate help here. As you can see from the images below, the top part of the plant is turning brown'ish - can you confirm this isn't bud rot? The bud is still hard to touch and doesn't crumble, etc, but I would like to confirm this quickly before it spreads to the remaining part of the plant.

oh man.. how do I confirm if it's rot? I can harvest the plant right away so as to avoid the rest of them from being rotted out.

Break it open and see if it's a funky brown color inside..

Thanks much for the suggestion and @420Forever for also confirming the same - I pinched the colored area a bit and it's fully green inside, so no bud rot for sure - phew, that was a close call so late in the game!
