New Grower harvested...not potent..help!

ive grown 2 nl autos and both were pretty disapointing strength wise, i did get a lot off it but id rather quality than quantity. i harvested in stages, some buds with clear/milky, some all milky, some all milky some amber & some mostly amber. it was an ok smoke, i did get high but never really as high as id like. i also grew with cfls though so bear that in mind. after that i did a bubblelicious and holy shit its so much better in ever aspect, it grew quicker (harvested 73 days from seed, the nl took over 100 days!) it smelt nicer, it looked so much more appealing, massive buds and a huge cola and most importantly a good solid stone. i have 3 NL seeds left but i doubt ill ever use them, i got purple cheese and bubblelicious atm and both of those shit over the NLs i grew.

who the **** knows though, im sure some people have grown auto NL that would knock me on my ass, and if so im more than willing to try this strain again lol

Which seed vendor did you get the Northern Lights from bro? Not all breeders are gonna have access to the highest quality strains so you could have 2 NL's growing next to each other from different seed banks, one could be great and one could be not so.
another important thing to bare in mind is that the curing process is designed to get rid of that plant matter/ hay taste and bring out the flavour of the buds..if she isn't smoking great right now maybe let her sit for a month with a few burps here and there and give her another shot, 1 day cure isn't really enough to judge a bud imho! Hope you get this resolved

This is killin me. I harvesed my first northern lights plant. I let the few buds i got off it dry in a shoebox for about 5 days, then put them in a jar for about a day now. Problem is...its not potent at all. i read that northern lights was awesome, this barely gets me high.. WHAT DID I DO WRONG? will it get its potency after its dried more? it also smells like hay. So dissapointed.

from what I seen with ur shitty pics was she was done...I had an auto acid that was also done but not potent,im guessin it had something to do with stress cause she had spider mites all over her and her buds also got real dry feelin before I chopped......the hay smell is normal before cure I know cause I never cure straight to brown bag and then straight to pipe

if it don't get u high now then don't get ur hopes up cause it probably never will...sorry bro all u can do is start another..can I offer a suggestion= auto pounder,very easy to grow

Hey man, sorry to hear your buds arent smoking great. I'd suggest putting the buds back in a jar for another month or two, the extra cure may produce some stone. You could take out a small bud every few days to see if it's getting better. Find some other buds to smoke in the meantime to take your mind off it. Or maybe use the buds and make some hash, then at least you have a block of potentially stonable hash.

I`d jar it up, keep burping, now and again etc, and wait a couple of weeks mate(it should get better!)...you`d do well t`get a hygrometer(if ya haven`t already), you need t`keep a eye on humidity levels(in jar)"My 2 cents" ...:smokebuds:
