New Grower Has anyone used this light??? Would like some feedback!!

Just found the 700W vesion on Aliexpress for $154 with free shipping but the seller has no feedback. Has many people bought from ali and are the buyers protected at all?

Hey zgr, not tryin to nudge your led vibe, but you get what you pay for. The bigger named/break the bank Led companies come with a 3 year/50000 hour warranty. If you buy that light and it breaks, who is going to fix it or warranty it?? All the warranty says is to take a pic and we will send you the part at no charge and YOU fix it. I would use your current grow light for 6 months to a year and get a good/solid/reputable LED with "STREET CREDIT" worth your hard earned money. Just my opinion.

I am currently using that light. Check out the link in my sig. I haven't been through a whole run yet. It seems to do well enough veging two plants and getting sprouts going. I think mine is an older version, they didn't have the grow/bloom variants when I got it.

I would not trust any one on aliexpress with zero feedback. A 700Watt light for 154$ is either a scam or a knock off. Go to the vendors web site LG lighting it's like 9$ more to buy the 400 from a reputable source with warranty. :peace:

What I can say about it is that it feels well built and stays pretty cool. I closed up a 4x4 tent and left it in there, after a day it only raised the temps 13 degrees.

You never know for sure about these off brand LED's.

However, China is the hub of LED manufacturing and from what I understand they are in LED development.

I have invested a great deal in a couple of LED's. For the price and if the spec are fairly good then why not give it a try.

C. Grow...thanks for the response. I might just give it a try. Seller has no feedback but aliexpress does have buyer protection.

Hey zgr, I just purchased my LED from Aliexpress (Details here: https://www.autoflower.org/f138/new-cidly-apollo-4-led-custom-28452.html) Like you said there is buyer protection so you would be at least guaranteed to get your item, but I would still recommend going with an established seller with 100% feedback. That way should you need to use the warranty they are more likely to still be around in a year or two.
