This is truly a fascinating and new cannabis-related topic! Very interested to find out more about using added natural terpenes(not sure if that is the right term, strictly speaking) to tweak the synergistic effects(and flavor) of your herb. Looks like it has a lot of potential for boosting certain medicinal properties as well as giving a little extra oomph to bud. Kind of like building a Frankenstein or Robo-Cop out of different cannabis!
MY BAD Bro, been in my woes for a bit, sorry for taking so long to respond. I'm referring to that pungent, funky odor that I thought was related to the aromatic nature of thc, and seems to be present in most strains (essentially, the reason why it reeks despite strain after we poof). I'm seeing this may be a terpene, but I have yet to identify a terpene like that (I'm going for skunk, I've experienced the aromas of cadavarol and putricine. Absolutely vile.) I thought I had read somewhere this funk was the result of a thiol group, not a terpenes, but I can't find it in my notes or with a quick Google run). I'll keep investigating.
