Extraction hash from old leafs?

Hey guys. With my mom in law back and forth in the hospital with liver problems I took all my plants and made them into edibles for her medicine. She likes those more than the pai pills which kill her liver more. Now im smokeless until november lol and we are extremely strapped for cash so no 20 dolla a gram stuff for me. I only use the sugar leafs for my hash and usually do an ice extraction. But I had all those other leafs left over so washed them with some alcohol and its the greenist ive ever seen. I poured it in and out as quick as I could, was about 20 seconds. I got it in my hot garage with a fan blowing on it but man is it green. Should I even try to smoke it ya think? Its all the leafs cept sugar ones. Thanks guys

If your leaves had trychomes on them it might work but i'm not sure about doing it after you used alcohol.

Your going to have some gooey stuff.
It will be smokeable.
I would winterize it though.

If it is still in solvent form (alcohol), put it in a glass or beaker (something easy to pour from)
Put that in the freezer overnight (The longer the better)
A lot of crap will have settled to the bottom. (you do not want this)

Get two paper coffee filters moisten with water and place into another jar to filter solvent.
carefully pour solvent through filters (avoid pouring "crap" at the bottom into filter and discard)(really, it's nasty)
Allow your solvent to dissolve as normal. Ideally, heated at 118f for 12hours once most of the solvent evaporates
It will still be green and a bit gooey but much cleaner.

I had an iso machine back in the day & tried basically the same thing & dried the green wash... turned out like shit...

maybe you will have better luck...

Yea it was pretty bad. Smoked it already, needed it for my nerves lol. Got just a very tiny bit, bout 3 hits and it was gone. Was about an oz of dried leaves. Upside though is im pretty good at picking the leaves that have the tricombs onem with just my nakelid eye lol. These were all the reject leaves when I make my ice hash.
