Extraction Hash Taffy! (Glycerin Tinctures)

Taffy! Very skeptical on how it was going to turn out. Strawberry flavor, glycerin, sugar... and many hours playing with the goo. Turned into Yum-yum for several weeks to come.

Glycerin tinctures? would that be better mixing it in then using some bubble hash?

if I understand your question...then yes adding hash to the glycerine
would make a better tincture than just using buds or trimmings.

thinking about doing a glycerin tincture with the bubble hash, prb the 73-160. I am about to do some reading in this section. Never done a glycerin tincture. I'd imagine it'd be easy.

Oh, ensure while making the taffy 258f to 260f, nothing less or more. Do not want hard candy

If I were to take a 1qt jar, fill it with bubble hash and glycerin. I probably would not have to let it sit for too long as it is hash already? Should I let it sit in a warm or cold place? I've been reading a few different ways of doing other tinctures, but not specific to glycerin. I had another question but the fudge wins.

Edit: I try not to bother my friend in Colorado but I was curious. He has never tried pure bubble hash/glycerin, but he believes taking a jar filling with bubble hash and glycerin in a dark room temp or warmer place for about two weeks would be adequate. Question, what ratio to hash per glycerin? and since I'll be using bubble hash would I even consider straining it? or just take it directly from jar into its home? Would I need to burp the jar?

And Last but not least, reading from this category on the forum, more fan leaves = more cbd. When I do more fan leaves I get more 110 - 160(micronscreenbubblebags) grade hash. When I do more sugar leaves to bud ratio I get more 45 - 90, decent 110 yield. With all said, would it be safe to believe the larger size screen would catch more of the cbds? Or am I mistaken?

Thank you TBM! Using a glycerin tincture will provide longer shelf life than a lot of edibles and it is very discreet (public use). I'd imagine great effects, as well. I do not like alcohol extractions. I am using hash as I yielded a lot more than I expected which is never a problem :dance: .5 to .8g of hash, typically, and I like the way of putting "that much" and then using a dropper-full of glycerin, nice way to measure it out. Didn't think I'd have to leave it to long, especially being hash, Great Great!

I've done some research online regarding the different content via different screens and had a lot of mixed reviews. That was also a few years ago. May see if any new findings are posted as it's making me more intrigue not knowing, ha.

Cannot seem to find a reliable answer-- still searching online. I called my fam friend up in Colorado and he has no idea, but will also ask around his area. You two are probably in the same area if you are listing "Co, USA"/

I'll be picking up more glycerin prob beg of next week. When I do the thing with it and get results I'll do a quick write up. Should be rather dry and to the point but a write up is always nice for future inquiring minds.
