Hellöw! Today one of my friend talked about this schledule that he used. His yields are usally about 70 grams which is triple for me. And I give 20/4 all of their lifetimes. He said hes setting 18/6 for veg, 12/12 for blooming. He claimed that more than this is unneccessary electrical consume. WOW!

I read many articles on the web and mostly they talk about full period 12/12 and every article claiming less yield. Is there anyone tried this scheledule, is it worth to try?

Hi @vincenoir It is a complicated subject but looking strictly at the growth of the plant the answer lies in the plant being able to absorb enough energy to meet its daily need each day. This is measurement is expressed as the Day Light Integral - DLI. You can investigate it on the web as I will just hit the high spots here. DLI is a measure of the usable light the plant needs expressed as moles. A cannabis plant needs a minimum of 28 DLI and thrives on 42 to 60. I find 42 is the best number for me in my space. It does not matter to the plant if it takes 12 hours or 18 hours to get the 42 DLI. If you have lights that can deliver 42 DLI in 12 hours then 12/12 will produce the same yield as lights that take 18 hours to deliver the 42 DLI.

This is a simplification. A great guy that wants to sell you a meter Bruce Bugbee has some must see videos.
