"Problem: Yellowing of leaves, some are half yellow/half green
Medium: FF Happy Frog + 10% perlite
Feed: General Organics GO Box - (5 ml Bloom, 1.25 ml CalMag, 1.25ml bud, 5 ml Marine, 5 ml Liquid Kool Bloom) - This is in one gallon container split between the two plants. They are each getting roughly half a gallon every other day. I did just bump my feed up to these levels about five days ago (this is 50% of recommended dosage for soil). Until them they had been feeding at 35 - 40% of recommended dosage.
Strain: Mephisto - HBSS, Ripley's OG - from seed
Climate: 20/4, Mars-Hydro 96X3 Reflector & Old style 300w. 4" extraction fan, small intake fan, one oscillating fan. Average temperature is 85 degrees, RH - 25-40%.
Additional info: I experienced early insect damage with these plants and the lowest yellowing is a result of those early problems. Wondering if I need to be concerned about the newer leaves that are yellowing? And those that are half green/ half yellow? The buds seem to be bulking up just fine.

Between the pictures above and the pictures below, I added 2.5ml of grow nutes to the feed... Trying to increase N.

Thank you in advance, AFN Flower Masters, for any advice/tips/troubleshooting you can offer!

hi there, seems that she's just eating her big fan leaves. Lack of N could be right, or she locked out from eating whats in the soil. Epson salts may be needed. Tip of teaspoon into 2L of plain water should see her right. No more feed.
Could be that its normal tho for the strain, mine often loose a lot of the lower leaves, or bigger first leaves when going into full flowering.
Pick em off anyway and keep checking & best of luck! the rest of your plants look lush green and no new growth around the buds are showing this, so im sure it will all be fine, besides, prevention is the best cure and your on it straight away.

Looking good. Yellowing of the leaves on the lower part is totally normal for this stage. Some things on the top reminds me of potassium and magnesium def. Make sure she gets enough potassium, magnesium and calsium. They work together and giving too much of any will cause problems with others. Also, make sure the pH is in good range for absorbtion of these elements. If not, that may be the only thing that needs to change.

This looks pretty good and best to react really gently. Many times just a tiny little bit works a lot better than a whole lot. Anyways. Thats my 2 cents. Best of luck!

Congrats about that excellent username BTW.

Thank you Borg!! I guess I've been overlooking the fact that they are getting old. If I add Epson salts at some point, do you cut off all nutes?

Thank you for taking a look! I am watching that spot on the top as well. I will bump up CalMg and see if there is a change. Will look into more Potassium as well. I believe the Liquid Koolbloom is full of it?

I did luck out on the username, didn't I? I like yours as well! ;)

Yeah that's right Koolbloom had NPK of 0 - 10 - 10 so there is plenty of potassium in that. I am in an opinion that it wouldn't be required to do anything else really than to just add a bit more CalMag. This plant looks healthy but some CalMag would be good to guard against any possible defiencies. After all, your plant is gonna run it's course in weeks from now so I wouldn't mind about the larger fan leaves yellowing.

If there is more signs in the smaller leaves on the top and specially the sugar leaves near buds then I'd be alarmed at this stage. During flushing it is a good sign that even the smaller leaves starts to show all kinds of colours. That just means there is least amount of residual nutrients in the buds. Smooth smoke.

:bighug:Janie! How are ya luv? ..nice looking gals you have here :eyebrows:.... I tried the GO Box myself recently, my first run even with organic nute's, and liked them, but I have some dialing in to do,... some others here also use this line, and get great results! Looks like you managed the conc. well, pushing right up to mild tip burn, surprising when you look at the mild NPK#'s,...-- with organics, soil pH, and microbe herd in particular, are super important because the 'crobes are what break down the organic nute' sources into absorbable forms,... do you have a soil pH probe yet? Accurate 8 is a good one, and do you have a pH reading on that soil currently? I don't see anything that alarms me, but watching that is key to avoiding trouble...I ask also because FF soils have been showing very acidic right out of the bag in most cases-- talking low 5's here! ..maybe you got a good batch,... ....I'm with Med', most of the yellowing I see looks N defc. related (over all yellowing, veins and all, no spotting, but higher up that I'd expect),and not unusual at this stage,.. buds are forming up nicely! Demand for Ca-Mg typically is very high at this stage as well, so keep adding that regularly now,... not too sure about that leaf in the 4th pic being K defc., as it lacks the usual tip and "teeth" point spotting,... looks more Mg defc. to me, but again, higher up than usual,...sometimes that happens! As for the Kool Bloom, now's the time to be workin' that stuff, boosting the PK numbers to fatten those buds up! Be sure to add that BioBud as well, to help make the most of the other nutes, and promote denser buds! try a couple rounds of this blend: use your grow nutes to help ease off the demand on the fans for N some, and skip the usual bloom in favor of the Kool bloom, at half strength for both, for a 4-13-13 ratio total- :greenthumb:,... Jane, are you using molasses at all? Good stuff, with some Ca, Mg, K and a little Fe in it, plus the sugars will really make the soil herd happy, and in turn, make the plant happy! Use 1tsp/qt, a couple times a week,...I like to add it in with just water, in between feed rounds,....:coffee: :pass:

Ahhhhh Waira :thanks:!! I am doing well. Happy to be back!!!

I do have an accurate 8 Meter. It is showing 6.9, so I think I'km pretty good there. I boosted the cal/mag and will start the dry Kool Bloom this week. Yes I do have molasses! I bought Mother Earth Sugar Load last time I was at the hydro shop. Now I know what to do with it ;).

Going to start on the heavier Kool Bloom tomorrow. Can't get a picture today but it is starting to look like fall in the tent!

Thank you!!

:pass:...sounds good Janie! I'm stoked you have that meter, it's a very valuable tool-...at 6.9, you're okay, a tad high, but a non-issue for now, the only thing that gets dicey at that pH is Fe, which does lock-out fast above 7.0, the rest of the nute' gang is fine around there,... Follow the directions on the label for your brand of molasses supplement,... make sure to give them about a week of cleansing, nothing but water, prior to est. harvest date! You want your girls finishing face-first, no reserves, especially carbs, to make for fine smooth smoke!.... have we had the trich' talk yet? I think so,...:eyebrows:
