Fair point mate. Im just being lazy and trying to keep any wiring to a minimum!
Im picturing your set up done twice with some aluminium angle to hold them together with a 6-8 inch gap in between- would also mount drivers there

Sounds like a great plan sang.i was going to build another the same as the one i have but for my 3x2 tent there is so much light from just this one fixture that i really dont think i need another one,but i have another driver so i think i will make another for flowering with cobs with more far red spectrum then just swap them over when proper flowering starts

I think i nearly have all the parts worked out now but the one thing i dont seem to find much info on is what type of potentiometer to use on a mean well hlg240h-c1400b driver ?
Any help is appreciated

Hey bro you will need a 100k ohm potentiometer you can pick up a pack of 5 for about £5

Hey man, can you tag me in when your heat sinks arrive? I want to use that website but can't order for about a month. I'd like to know how long they take to arrive. As you're new, you may not know that you can tag someone by typing the @ and their user name, like this: @Eclectic Elle - you'll then get a little hovering box with their name in - you only need the first three letters before it'll show you options. Just click on the one you want and they'll be tagged.

Actually I just checked again & I ordered it on Tuesday night so it arrived in just over 24 hours!!! No import charges from the EU & postage was about £7 for a meter long heavy slab of heatsink 1000x150x25mm. You'll prob need to add VAT to the listed price however.
