I'm a new UK grower who's only experience is watching my dad attempt to grow one big Buddha cheese plant on a windowsill using baby bio for nutes aha :') He got 2 ounces somehow...
Me and my dad have spent the last few years as regular visitors to a bunch of forums, trying to learn what we can about hydroponics and growing in general. We are both much more educated than we were for sure!
My dad has emphysema and is a recent vaping convert (we have Hebe titans and a volcano) so we're interested in tinctures and edibles too.
Until recently growing was a pipe dream for us due to the draconian way sick people are treated by the present UK government but we now have most of our gear in transit so we'll be starting soon.
Our grow space is a small 80cm x 80cm x 180cm tent that will go into a utilities cupboard. We hope to grow 4 plants at a time in this space but I have a feeling we might lose one or two the first time round.
In the coming weeks I hope to be starting a diary detailing our attempts.
We've decided autos are our best bet for a few grows then we might try a photo grow in the future.
Our setup will be a straight dwc on the first grow to get to grips with feeding, then we might add a scrog on a second or third grow depending on how confident we feel.
We plan to grow 2 strains: think different and berry bomb auto.
There may be an outdoor guerrilla type grow in the works too
