Hi everyone, nice to meet you all I've been lurking in the shadows for a while now and thought I should make an account to thank you all for taking the time to report your efforts, make guides, tutor newbs like me and so on!
After reading posts from this treasure trove of information and watching YouTube for weeks I think it's time to take on my first grow so I don't need to put up with the scumbags in my area anymore and have my own (and hopefully better) medicine to cope with my problems until the law here gets a grip.
I will try to record and post about my grow to help (or be helped by ) other if if possible.

Nice to have somewhere to come talk about stuff or ask questions etc.
My buddy hooked me up with his old tent since he doesn’t use it anymore, a bit big at 6’x6’x6’ but will do me for now until I can afford smaller
Picked myself up some budget gear to get started as money’s a bit tight but still tried to get half decent stuff, started with a rhino pro acoustic filter kit, couldn’t be cheap there as I have to be stealthy haha. I got a mars hydro tsl2000 and gonna grab a better light later too when flowering( a qb or Samsung strips not sure yet)
For seeds I chose gorilla glue autos by fast buds, seemed they are liked here and decent success with them not to mention some good couch locking weed
For my soil and nutrients I went with the biobizz range and light mix soil seemed a lot have good results with these and autos plus I wanted to stay kind of organic but easy enough to cope with as a first grow
Starting out with 11 litre pots but after learning about air pots and the air pruning effect I drilled holes all over them, can’t hurt right?
I grabbed some pipe cleaners and gonna lst my plants too to try and increase yield, might even attempt topping one or two but I’ll wait and see how things go before I get ahead of myself
Ok sorry for the crazy long post was only meant to be a short reply haha, I will start a grow journal soon once I’ve got everything setup and start the germination, get some pics up etc and let you all know how I’m getting on, please feel free to chime in anytime with anything you think I could learn from as a new grower and thanks again everyone, happy growing!

You will fill that 6x6 before you know it and the TS-2000 will grow some good weed, excellent choice for seeds and growing medium but you will need to add some nutrients after about 4 weeks and a lot of growers are using Biobizz. I am a hydro guy so search out growers using that combo.

It seems you are gonna be right about filling the 6x6 after all, I got 10 seeds for the price of 5 so extremely happy about that.
Thanks for the info @Mañ'O'Green , much appreciated and I was thinking about using root juice at low dosage to start then week 3-4 start with fish mix/grow(not at same time), then onto bloom/grow when time and grabbed alg-a-mic just in case necessary, oh and some calcium carbonate and Epsom salt just in case as I’ve seen a few posts about calmag deficiencies using biobizz and trying to keep all my bases covered.
@420Forever I guess we won’t know until close to harvest and I can see the roots, how well it really worked but here’s hoping it helps some at least haha, I have faith
Seeds are germinating now so hopefully all goes well, will start my journal in the newbie section later tonight after getting tent setup, thanks again everyone and happy growing!
