Howdy all, I thought I'd say hello. I'm a MMJ grower from Massachusetts and I've lurked for a bit and now that our new MMJ laws are going into effect , I thought it was time to come out of the shadows!
The forum is great and there are pretty awesome people on this site so I figured what the hell, I might as well say hello! :joint:

Greetings! Welcome to AFN. I know mass passed the medical bill but does it
Include a provision in there to grow? CT & NJ both pass MMJ laws that are basically useless other than giving you a free pass in case you get pulled over and are caught with it... Neither state has set up there dispensaries yet, so the act of possession is legal but not procuring it?!?!?! Leaves the medical patient with two illegal options, buying from the black maket(on the st) or growing your own...neither state has hardly any users registered as most doc in both states are uninformed of the legality of the law etc... Though right in neighboring state RI a MMJ can have 24 plants! Makes a lot of sense eh? Hopefully Mass is law makes more sense... So enough of the rant and again welcome to AFN

Well from what I understand about the law is that, 1: you can posses a 60 supply ( No Quantity's yet) and 2: There will be 35 or so Dispensorys but if you live far enough a way then you can get a hardship lic to grow. I just wish they'd give us some real guidelines. A friend who works for the state recently asked me about starting a collective in Boston, so after Jan, we can file the paperwork and he can get it pushed through pretty fast.
