i am happy to be here at autoflower net. the look of the site is very nice and easy on the eyes. i like its particular shade of green. the navigation is easy, too. the people are friendly and they smoke dope like me. they stand in line at the grocery store and think, "no one around me knows i am a criminal---for i am a pot smoker. i can't wait to get home and TOKE!"
i am a slovenly grower. been growing for decades, mostly outdoors but nowadays indoors. i work with what is at hand. i am crap at diy. i find a hidden space indoors, bung in some relatively low-wattage lights, a fan, and i grow the best pot i can. i put up with thrips, gnats, ants, bees, and flies, and yet, the bud still kicks ass. i have smoked plants whose leaves were practically white with thrip damage, and i still got very stoned.
i never had those pests before i started using organic, sweet, syrupy nutes.
i recently discovered an organic spray that contains juice from chrysanthemums. it has significantly reduced the thrips and gnats. it works really well. i won't ask for more than that since i know the bud will melt my brain no matter what the thrips do.
presently growing photos & autos under 2 x 125watt vertical cfls. started vegging them under 170watt led.
the photos are: jack f1 by spliff seeds, haze special by kc brains
the autos are: speedy gonzales auto by kannabia seeds, auto blue mystic by nirvana, smokey bear auto by freedom seeds, snowryder by short stuff, lowryder 2.
it's week 6 for the autos and the snowryder still has not flowered...may eventually treat it like a photo and give it 12/12 instead of the current 18/6...
---update: i just happened to be researching all the info at seedfinder.eu and came across the info about White Label's version of Snow Ryder. it's not supposed to start flowering until nearly 8 weeks from germination, and between the 6th & 9th set of leaves. Overall it's supposed to take 80 days to finish. it's been 7 weeks since my Snow Ryder germinated. it's on its 8th set of leaves...and flowers have appeared today. so it mustn't be from Short Stuff.
someone at my seedvendor must've thought all Snow Ryders are alike...the Short Stuff version is supposed to finish in 8-10 weeks instead of just starting to bloom at week bloody 7!
but, maybe it's just an uncommon pheno from Short Stuff...I will give my vendor the benefit of the doubt. the White Label version is supposed to be very good...but i didn't want an auto that takes 80 days to finish (probably 90!).
i am glad this friendly & helpful site exists. it has helped me pick some of the plants i have grown and enjoyed smoking. it's nice to read and write about growing reefer. i've no one else in my life to talk about it with.
