Hi all. I have been growing autos for a year now one plant at a time. I don't think I'm very good at it, and searching for some info online i came across this forum so I am here. I have never joined or participated in a forum before and I am a bit afraid to post pictures and what not. I have lots of questions but I am going to spend some time on the search features before posting them. Thanks in advance.

hi and welcome.
tons of info here.i too grew pure rubbish for nearly a year till i joined up,then things started to click into place.
search is your friend, but dont be afraid to ask any questions.a very helpfull bunch of folks here.

Hi,
Dont be shy. I was a month ago. Didn't want to share pics or ask questions... Now look they can't shut me up... Really dont sweat it nobody's gonna judge you. The education is free just gotta participate.

My biggest issue is that my autos always grow very tall, but i just don't get a big yield. My biggest was a little over two oz, which I hear is normal, but the plant looks like it could give so much more. So far I have learned that I need to be testing my PH and back off the nutes, I think i have been burning them.

I'm new to autos as well first tent full as we speak check out my thread first auto grow. They aren't great but no better way to do it than make mistakes. The people on here know their sh*t. Keep reading.

Hello Dread,

don't be so hard on yourself. This is a fun hobby and now you have joined AFN it will only get better. Share your grows and believe me, you will encourage others to join. The more we share the more we learn. That is the AFN way. No one will ever judge you. Just help. And never underestimate what you post. Others learn from it. Ask any question.

cheers and welcome. eP.

Welcome Dread. I myself am hesitant to post as to me, my plants are too small but I do it anyway. It's the only way I'm going to learn and I really don't want to go through the process alone if I don't have to. There are so many great people here that are full of help, ideas and knowledge. In taking advantage of this, I will soon be able to have some productive grows.
