I have an area 9' 8" x 4' x 6'tall.
Goal: I would like to design a simple hidden room and easy way to gain access without someone that would visit the area would notice.

Restrictions: on one 4' wall I have an air unit that needs to remain open and occupies only 2' of the wall.

What the space can have: Shelves, Cabinets, Faux Wall/s, A Regular space for a indoor garden (to help hide sound and smell, plus I want an indoor garden :) Regular shop and garage type stuff. Outside of the room will be temp controlled to normal conditions.

[could be a tent that opens in the back to gain access to the back grow? or roller cabinet can be put in place to hide the passage, If needed: the passage can come down from the top but I would rather not.]

Thoughts, direction? Plans already on the web? What ya'll got?

sounds ideal for a large wardrobe or entertainment center type cabinet.is it 9'8" wide x 4' deep? maybe bi-fold doors across the front, like a laundry closet.

Thanks wardrobe sounds great. I'm thinking even more hidden.
Here's what I'm working with.. What secret design were ya looking for? Let me know if ya really need it. :)

Cool stairs. I've seen the wardrobe done. That's pretty neat. Actually some trailer homes have hidden laundry/pantry rooms that look like a big shelving unit that opens up to show room. Ready built trailer homes for hidden grows, and ya can do laundry while ya watch your green grow. LOL!

using panleing on a wall with wood trim is a very easy way to hide a door access as well. I have designed hidden rooms in upscale houses using this method before

I have a sliding folding mirror set in front of a little "laundry area" for washer dryer... modded that and built in a small frame to carry my "lockout wall"... uses solenoids from car door locks and a remote to open the 8 latches... 2 panels (top n bottom) come out to gain access.. only the person in control of the remote has access even if they find the false wall.. without a sledgehammer of course... :)
